More Than a Masterclass – Your Festival Week
Look forward to an intensive masterclass with complimentary access to all festival concerts. As the crowning highlight, you will perform in your own final concert in one of Southern Germany’s most beautiful ceremonial halls, located in the Baroque palace of the princely House of Oettingen-Spielberg. The 10th International Violin Festival is held under the personal patronage of His Serene Highness the Prince of Oettingen-Spielberg.
For one week, you will live and make music in a charming historic residence town with a unique atmosphere and inspiring surroundings. Accommodation in a holiday apartment or with local hosts is included. If you prefer a more exclusive stay, you may choose to book a room at the newly opened Hotel Krone for an additional fee.
Lunch and dinner are included as well, as is transportation to and from the railway station.
Music, exchange, atmosphere – everything is included.

Participation fee: €780
Please transfer the full course fee together with your registration (plus any bank charges that may apply to international transfers) to the account listed below. Please note that only fully completed registration forms accompanied by full payment can be considered.
The organizer and the faculty reserve the right to select participants.
Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation by the participant, an administrative fee of €90 will be retained. If cancellation occurs within the last 10 days before the course begins, or in the case of non-attendance, the full course fee will be charged.
Should the organizer cancel the event, the full course fee will be refunded.

Travel Information:
Oettingen can be conveniently reached via the airports of Munich, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart.
Participants arriving by train may make use of the festival shuttle service. Please indicate your preferred destination station on the registration form.
Enrollment:
Personal registration takes place on Monday, 31 August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Festival Office, located in the Tourist Information Office at the Town Hall. There you will receive your accommodation details and festival documents.
Accommodation and catering:
ccommodation is provided from 31 August to 6 September 2026. Lodging is arranged with local host families, in holiday apartments, guesthouses, or hotels.
Due to limited availability, single-room accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Participants wishing to stay in a hotel single room may indicate this on the registration form (additional charges apply).
Lunch and dinner are included in the participation fee.
Masterclasses:
During the festival, each participant will receive at least four lessons with their preferred instructor. Lesson schedules will be assigned following the placement round on Tuesday morning.
Practice rooms are available outside lesson times and will be introduced during the placement round.
Course start:
Masterclasses begin on Tuesday morning, 1 September 2026.
Masterclass concerts:
As a participant, you will enjoy free admission to all faculty concerts taking place during the festival week.
On 5th and 6th of September 2026, festive final concerts featuring the masterclass participants will be held, providing an opportunity to perform the repertoire prepared during the course.

The shared-taxi shuttle service is included in the participation fee on both the arrival day (Monday, 31 August 2026) and the departure day (Monday, 7 September 2026) at times designated by the organizer. Transportation outside these scheduled times will be charged separately.
